Losing weight can be hard and confusing.
There's so much information online now, it's hard to know what works and doesn't work.
Diets are hard to sustain.
Books and weight loss programs can make unrealistic promises, which could leave you feeling like a failure when you don't see the changes they promised.
Instead of following the latest diet craze, do this instead.
Change 1 habit every 2 months.
Studies have shown that it takes an average of 66 days to create a habit, good or bad.
Changing too many things at once is overwhelming, which I why I suggest changing 1 thing every 2 months.
For example, if you're not consistently exercising each week, then make it your goal to move for 20 minutes every day for the next 2 months.
That's all you need to work on for those 2 months.
Other positive things may happen during that time, but your focus is on 20 minutes of daily movement.
The next 2 months you might focus on drinking more water and less energy drinks.
Make a commitment to yourself to do 1 healthy thing for 2 months at a time and you will see results.
So, what change will you make over these next 2 months?
If you need accountability, don't hesitate to reach out.
