In this video I will show you one of the best hip stretches you may not know.

The deep lunge is a fantastic stretch for unlocking tight hips. It also requires a bit of strength as you are working from the tall plank position and must stabilize yourself during the stretch.
You can play around with the movement by adding hip circles, prying your leg open, adding thoracic spine rotation and even moving into a calf and hamstring stretch.
These stretches can be done during your warm-up, cool down or even on an off day as a form of active recovery.
Try incorporating the deep lunge into your next workout and see how your body responds.
