How To Do A 1-Arm Kettlebell Swing And Keep Your Back Safe

In this video I will show you how to do a 1 arm kettlebell swing while keeping your back safe.

1. Why you should learn the 1 arm kettlebell swing
2. What people usually do wrong
3. How to do it right
4. Please leave a comment if you have questions

The 1 arm kettlebell swing is a great exercise for increasing your strength and endurance and strengthening your grip, core and hips.

Your grip is worked extremely hard because you are holding onto a heavy object that's moving quickly with just one hand.  Your core and hips are strengthened due to the fact that one side of your body is loaded and you must keep your body square while moving quickly.  You can think of the 1 arm kettlebell swing as an anti-rotation exercise.  The same muscles that rotate your core are also the same muscles that keep your core from rotating.

Make sure to pack the shoulder of the working arm by pulling your shoulder back and down to engage your lats.  This will keep your neck and shoulder safe.
