You either love pushups or you hate them.... Not matter how you feel about pushups, we can all agree that they are a great way to build upper body strength. Maintaining proper alignment through your spine and shoulders can be tricky when trying to lower yourself under control. However, by focusing on your nose, chest and hips all touching the ground at the same time and rising together will help you get command of your pushup. To keep tension out of your neck, actively pull your shoulders down away from yours ears and squeeze your armpits. All of these tips can also be applied to kneeling or incline pushups.
